Great comment. They didn't get much radio play so it was word of mouth and the fact that back in these days you followed where guys from previous bands went and who else they played with and that's how you discovered all kinds of music. This era will never be repeated. So glad I was there for it.

I wish PAUL COTTON would have continued to use that LES PAUL CUSTOM throughout the POCO years along with the white one he also used.

POCO's lineups has held minor changes, considering where all else Richie Furay, Timothy B. Schmidt and Jimmy Messina have been (Eagles, Buffalo Springfield, Richie Furay Band, some aided on Still's Manassass Album, Messina's terms with Kenny Loggins are immortal, and short lives of "The Still's Young Band" and Pure Prairie League, all over H and gone yet they come back and add Rusty, we have POCO! None of those mentioned would be/have been/re-united if not for capable, professionalism on high!

Thank you for sharing this video of the greatest country-rock band of all time! Richie, Tim, George, Jim, Paul, Randy, and of course, Rusty, such innovators, such great musicians, Yup, they started it all, and did it best! The many that followed were good, however, there was none quite like Poco! God bless all these guys! Pastor Richie, keep on running the race, for the Prize!

That black custom Les Paul sure looks like NY's "Old Black"....hmmm!

Does Rusty's comping sound like a keyboard at times to anyone else? I think it's his unique pulse and grind that gives Poco -- and this song particularly -- its power.

You said it right man. It's as though POCO fans have a secret that mainstream radio will never be fortunate to be a part of. Love this band (from Pickin up the Pieces to Inamorata to NOW!!)

This is my favorite incarnation of POCO and I kick myself for not seeing these 5. I did see them after Richie split. It was funny cuz Tim was wearing an Eagles T-shirt that nite and it wasn't too long after when he joined them...Thx for posting...Love this stuff...

This band should have been as big as the Eagles, but I think when Richie left Poco, Paul took them in a more country direction, & less country/rock. This right here is Poco at their best. With Richie gone, the band changed direction. Timothy leaving was it for me. I was a huge fan, but when Tim left I think some moved on to other bands. Too bad because these guys were so amazing live & should have been major superstars

Don Felder is a superior guitarist to Paul Cotton, so is Jim Messina. Paul was adequate for the band .Nothing groundbreaking.

And if it were not the joys of Buffalo Springfield, Poco-Loggins & Messina, Crosby-Stills & Nash, The Eagles, The Flying Borrito Brothers, and many country rock based/laced bands would have NEVER BEEN....

Don Felder, along with David Blue opened for Poco, and I can tell you that Don wanted to look like, and be like, Paul Cotton, he came close, but nobody could touch Paul & Poco in the 70s, and nobody plays like Paul Cotton today, IMHO !
