definitely is a classic, as is all their work. "to love me more" from the same album is their masterstroke imo. incredible string arrangments also, for the cratediggers, this song make great use of a sample from the soulful strings' "hello goodbye" from 1968. prince be and dj minutemix had great taste on all fronts.

It's a shame that Black alternative bands such as PM Dawn curry the wrath of profanity laced, gun toting, gang influenced groups. As I recall, PM Dawn had to pick up and run to Europe to be truly appreciated. Would Jimi Hendrix been able to perform a concert in an all Black arena if he were playing today?

I think that this song is targeted against the people and music industry who said that they weren't a real hip hop group. Wikipedia mentions that they were discarded as another "Del La Soul" alternative hip hop group.
