I like the way they changed the entire texture of this song. Plant is the quintessential blues singer and Page is a freakin' awesome guitarist. Glad to hear he's a "recovering Catholic." LOL!!!

Is Denton very short or are Robert and Jimmy just very tall? Bizaare version of 'Black Dog'. But I like it! It tripped me out! Somehow I'm surprised that Jimmy and Robert agreed to play that game! Well, at least they were good sports. :)

I love how over the years this song gets re-worked and changed. I like this version. I also like the version for the American Music Awards which is very very similar. Also the version that Plant did with Allison krause was good too

anytime the 'didge players are higher up in the mix than jimmy page, something is truly F@#$d up. doesn't even have the black dog riff. wow, that was terrible. seems like robert is having a good time pushing jimmy out of the way. can't even hear jimmy in the clip in morocco. what the h@#l happened here? truly terrible...

Well they were really joking around in the Part 1 piece, which was really funny if you pay attention. So maybe it spilled over to the performance.

there are so many variations to this song--every one of them is interesting and fantastic! does anyone get that these guys, especially Plant, are the only ones keeping things interesting? I love the way Plant incorporates all kinds of musicians, giving every outstanding talent a chance...
