See Kiddies, this is what happens when a REAL OPERA SINGER, A REAL TENOR, sings, not like over blown, over hyped Can-belto singer mario lanza. Domingo is real...lanza the phony

it's a beautifull interpretation , but the best interpretation is the pavarotti version *_*

Que se puede decir de Placido Domingo que no se haya dicho antes, es simplemente espectacular y no sabia que Jo Jo Jorge Falcón fuera tan bueno para dirigir orquesta ja ja ja. (pequeño chascarrillo perdón)

YES SUGARBIST COMMENT HERE IS CORRECT AS USUAL . LATER PAV. HAD QUITE A BIT OF VOLUME IN HOUSE FOR A LYRIC OR LYRC SPINTO TENOR, I SAW HIM EARLY IN 1974 IN BOHEME IN LA HOLLYWOOD BOWL AND LATER IN THE 80'S IN CHICAGO. I MUST SAY PD SINGS THIS SO VERY WELL. HE GOT ALONG WITH MEHTA HERE.

I met Maestro Domingo,in 1981,while a member of the Metropolitan Opera Guild,in June 16,during the Met in the park series, what a great day,I also met james levine, the conductor, and the celebrated baritone,Sherill Milnes, and soprano Renata Scotto.I still love opera till this day.and my voice because I went to celebrated, vocal coach, improved it.i sing better now than when I was young.God bless Maestro Olsen.!

imel Vickers AND Mario Del Monaco are dramatic tenors, even though Pav. sang otello later he was not a dramtic tenor but a fine lyric tenor and later his voice was larger as I heard him early and later many times from 1974 on.

Pavoratti was never ever a dramatic tenor in any way. he was basically a lyric tenor who later sang some spinto roles like Aida, so a lyric spinto later, not a dramatic. Lanza as said here made a fine studio version of this but of course this with PD is live not studio.
