I know this song for a long time and I never realized what is all about until nowits about saying goodbye to your parents , after u grow up and u slowly start to realize your parents start to act like kids, then u find yourself you have to take care of them . lyrics like " Before our innocence was lost " . I relate to this video in that my mother was basically worthless as a parent when I was this boys age, giving neither a safe home nor protection from an abusive stepfather; it was as if I was the adult at times trying to figure out what the hell to do. I have come a long way to overcome that wretched childhood I was dealt (and yes I know that unfortunately, some children have it even worse than I did). I see the last scene as closure. Even if it's your parent, if they continually hurt you and let you down, eventually, you need to let them go...8 years ago
