There is a heap of songs that depicted the whole range of troubles we usually deal with and that's also the first impression I felt as soon as I grabbed Meds. What a marvelous album! In my opinion Placebo have been underrated even though they should have a different rank in the alternative rank, they definitely deserve to be assessed carefully and without any bias because the music they rush out is an anthem all the time and it indescribably fills up your heart, it might be the needle to hole your heart or the spaceship towards a perfect life. Clearly their music is addictive and I may not eschew commenting the rush of emotions they unleash, but you probably know how outstanding every gig is. Come on! Bring it on! How can you avoid cheering up your ears before going to bed? Anyhow it's impossible going far and not to start reflecting on the stuff they lately released, as I use likening their current style to the former sound I acknowledge I feel slightly let down by a few songs they made because their flawless exhibitions are becoming a point for teenagers, while the first and fondest fans are turning away. Allegedly they can't get what Placebo are composing and they don't feel spellbound by this newer approach anymore. I also noticed the utter change they stuck to, that initially spark that made us freaking out is slowly running out because the commercial stream brought a massive impact on the style of the proudest bands ever; it's just poking around that you figure out the choices of the other ones such as Muse or Franz Ferdinand. This process is also fostered by experiments and electronic methods, previously the sound wasn't that affected by keyboards, it was good enough and we got used to that easiness right away but the bands have to evolve and the sound can turn into a happier merger, therefore the darkness opens the door to a gleeful episode of the life while those screaming and loud voices which blew your mind over and over don't want to take you to feel downtrodden anymore. I don't know whether you grasp my opinion. I'd be glad to argue about this subject a little more. Then, hang out your thought!
