+1 and share if you like to party!

Placebo are an English alternative rock band, formed in London in 1994 by singer-guitarist Brian Molko and guitarist-bassist Stefan Olsdal. The band were soon joined by drummer Robert Schultzberg, who was replaced in 1996 by Steve Hewitt. Hewitt left the band in 2007 and was replaced by Steve Forrest in 2008.

Talking about this marvelous band is something I truly love, whatever written by them means too much even because the best relief and pride are caught when you're under that eager, burning stage. It's a masterpiece and I never regret having known such a great band, nor could I feel ashamed of showing my addiction to Brian's band. I'm so crazy and I feel spellbound by this rush of rock and electronic music which got stirred together as much as needed. There's no flaw, it looks energetic to me, it's also the crowd to make the band energetic and viceversa (words stolen from Dominic Howards). Anyway I believe their temperament is not that scary or obnoxious, I remember how many quotes I read about this kind of behavior you can't grasp and perhaps they could be politer or having a different way to show up, I concur over this point but at the same time I can't stand the ones who judge Placebo and try to destroy them because of a personal thought or just for the sake of wiping them out. Let me share my standpoint about one of the best bands ever, they downright make you feel mad and they have an indescribable way to charm and "kidnap" your ears; your brain seizes up as soon as the electronic part comes on and whatever you was thinking gets suddenly broken and put aside by this sound. The more you listen to them the less you get interested in other things, they may replace a book because their texts are a right swap for whoever strives to clench opinions and ideas on papers, it ends up that you start listening to the first album and you close your book, shut your windows and close deeply and slowly your eyes; meanwhile their music starts off and you forget whatever done, all the things you're scared of, all the tasks you have to pull off, all the doubts you have about yourself (it's a spell and your body gives up, naturally!) I don't think you want to underrate Placebo!

I think you'd be best listening to cd's if that's your view. What i can hear is a band with many years on the road and a professional sound, Most of the tracks have backing instruments in them played by themselves i'd imagine. I think they just rock everywhere they go and get better as the years progress , what a cool band.

Definitely not as good as they had been e.g. Nova Rock 2005 - their hard life style appears now, especially in Brians voice
