indeed..you are right...Harvey listened to "The Singer" quite a lot I guess..she took that very low register of the voice Diamanda uses so greatly on that album..but..Harvey manages to make that style her own..make it a bit lighter..a bit more longing..especially after "Rid of me" a very interesting turn to take...she knows what she wants..that's very attractive
