Hmm. This is painfully bad. Too bad Frank didn't wipe the tape. He's released other demos and they are usually great. And no, this is not the Pixies, you blithering morons. This is Frank Black in his home studio with an electric guitar, a drum machine and a multi-track tape recorder, trying some stuff out. How anyone could think this sounds even remotely close to the Pixies is beyond me.

this is great! you morons slamming it for not being perfect need to understand why musicians record demos - to put down some ideas quickly, without taking the time to work out every detail. this was later recorded professionally, but here it was likely recorded on a 4 track cassette recorder. your effort on the same gear would pale in comparison
