Grating, scratching- desperate sounds.Feels like this - spineless .Hope versus hope, it's inside.Pure hate pure love all there.Gritter, feels like this.Drag your nails, feel the sound.Compelled to necessity - inside.Teeth on edge, the only days.Etch a mark - soul maker.Gritter, feels like this.Drag your nails, desperate sounds.Feels like this, earsplit ground.Gritter, feels like this.Void of spirit drip away.Abhor and recoil just there.Gritter, feels like this, gritter feels like this.

Wow, you are my new favorite person right now. Also check out Cable Regime, Cindytalk, Pore, Dead World, Candiru, Treponem Pal and Dissecting Table for older heavy industrial music and For new bands; Halo and Sektor 304 are making some truly heavy industrial doom music.

You simply cannot play this loud enough!

@smegmalfog Hmm maybe. Desensitized sounds a bit different because it was produced differently with less processing on the vocals. I suppose the sludgier sounding vocals on Submit could be JS with the vocals pitch shifted down but I was always lead to believe Mark was still on vocals for songs like Gritter and that JS took over fully in between Submit and Desensitized from doing live gigs. I've not listened to submit for ages, is that also on Peaceville or was it another label before Earache?

@smegmalfog JS did vocals for Deconstruction and Dry Riser Inlet. The rest of this EP is Mark on vocals, since he originally did all the vocals for Industrial. JS didn't take over fully until Desensitized.

Gritter, Bastardiser, Deconstruction, and Tendrill. my faves. Weird...I was playing Nazi Zombies on my iphone. i usually suck at it... I decided to turn on Submit while i was playing... Apparently, during Pitch Shifter's turn on the playlist, I got to round 23 on Der Riese....then i turned it off and my Porter X2 Ray Gun suddenly mysteriously needed 5 hits to kill....

@KJGould Hm... I wonder what distributers do Earache have.If an appearantly indie label pushes the groundwork of several groups, that can only be a bad sign.Godflesh was also releasing their tapes under that company.I know Broadrick wouldn't let anyone take over his projects in that matter, otherwise he could not work and rise to his peak

@bloodyrockfire Pitch Shifter becoming pitchshifter was very deliberate, they wanted a change because they associated their former music with their time with Earache. Earache have messed around with other bands on their label as well. I wouldn't say the music go lesser, it changed. Some people would consider industrial grind to be lesser, it's all a matter of preference and taste.

@KJGould I don't know what you exactly mean here but I do agree Pitchshifter sounds like a bunch of pop lego doggies compared to this record just like Oomph! has developed over the years.Since these two bands have signed a major company deal, their musical quality has dropped in my opinion

Makes me wonder how the band would have turned out if Earache hadn't screwed them over, like they've done with so many other bands.

@ExtremeGrindTerror Unfortunately, the only option is either the used section at a local shop, ebay or maybe of the distros may have an odd copy lying on the shelf somewhere.

who mixed this song? those vocals are waay too quiet. good song, but the vocals don't stand out enough. they need to be louder!
