Hey John. Thanks for the reply ! I forgot I had even written this comment. Anyway, yeah, great band and two great records! I agree with you there was a lot of soloing going on. Could have been cut down some but that's also part of why I like it so much. However I'm a guitar player so, not like the average fan. Rock On :)

Not a hit cuz it was too long...could have clipped the bridge a bit and reduced the middle solos...would have been major hit at 3:20 time!

Does anybody know what the other guys from Piper are doing thses days? The guitar work on these two records is amazing ! Usually with 3 guitar bands, its just a jam fest! These guys really intertwined so nicely, always tastful and always for the song. You just dont hear that much, not then and especially not now! I love Billy's solo records alot, but I think the Piper records are better! How "Who's you boyfriend" wasn't a big hit at the time defies logic!!

+1 Piper/The Babys I paid .63(not a typo) to see the show. It was a radio station promo show.Both bands killed. Would love to see some live video of Piper. Have both Piper albums and hung with Billy through Tale of the Tape.A cool artist MTV screwed.

OMG! I was at that show as well. The Babys were totally forgettable but Piper kicked. I agree, the first two albums were the best. Too bad I can't seem to find them on CD or download.

Great band!! Saw them open up for The Babys in 1977. IMHO their 2 Lp's are better than any solo stuff Billy has put out. Wish there was some "live performance footage available.

Had to be right around 1976 went to the Boston Garden to see ELO and Piper opened for them, my first time hearing Billy Squier ...they blew the garden away with this album!
