Teaming up as a comedy duo, Pinkard & Bowden released their debut album, "Writers in Disguise", which was led off by a parody montage entitled "Adventures in Parodies".

"Daddy Sang Bass" is a parody of a song written by Carl Perkins and recorded by Johnny Cash, who reached #1 with it on the US Country Charts.
