Even shedding tearsI can not forgive youEven if you have sufferedAll my lost timeYou never want to loveToday I'm looking The forgetting its evilLiving in the abandonmentTo do his willDespite being sincereYou're the one who made me cryNever mind, follows the fateThat the world will teach you

Bravo. Esta es la canción que Pedro Almodóvar no sabe que quiere incluir en su próxima película. A ser posible con Bibiana y Loles bailando alternativamente sueltas y agarrás. No necesariamente en un presidio.

@aburanyi, @nicolebarwinski, I would just like to add that although it is valid to compare the linguistic difference between the U.S. and Britain as similar to the gap between Brazil and Portugal, the reason why Americans on average are able to understand a regular standard accented British person is because of the historical close ties that the U.S. and Britain (they have simply fought two World Wars side by side to begin with, not to mention the various others) and the fact the Britain has a very powerful cultural industry that definitely punches above its weight, given the GDP differences between Britain and the U.S. The same cannot be said between Brazil and Portugal. After the independence from the mother country, Brazil never again shared world destinies with Portugal (e.g., Brazil sent troops to fight in Italy in World War II whereas Portugal declared neutral) and the cultural industry in Portugal is uncapable to penetrate the Brazilian market that is more than 10 times bigger than Portugal's. Hence, a Brazilian never hears Portuguese in films/songs/tv shows/theatre/interviews, whereas the opposite is true; Portuguese people do have access to all such things made in Brazil. That said, we have to bear in mind also that Americans would still have a hard time understanding local regional accents in Britain; recently, Cheryl Cole, with her strong accent from Newscastle upon Tyne, northern England, had to leave American X factor as a judge because the American audience and candidates could not properly understand what she was saying. So, the parallels exist and the fact that Americans in general can understand Brits better than Brazilians understand Portuguese people is basically because of more (economic) exposure.
