This is a music video based on the song Sympathique by Pink Martini. I've always loved this song. And one day my friend gave me a flower, and I tried to see if I could imbue the flower with human emotions in a music video. If you understand French, I think the video may be even more amusing. Real title is "Dahlia Music Video (or how Jean de Florette Came to Be)" Please be patient with the slightly long intro, as it's used to test sound levels normally. I think I've noticed also that the sharp cuts are a bit delayed or mistimed when I uploaded it to YouTube... So I may try to correct this. Your comments are appreciated.

moneybucket1: have you heard of ironie? (ironic in English). if EVERY translation is wrong, the editor must have intended that--that's what makes it genius for this song. :) watch it carefully again--you'll see the times they even caption it ironically.

Awesome! I love it so much, and I am not easily impressed by much of anything (teen angst). Everything just worked perfectly together

hi, sorry for the extra seconds. the person i made this video for as a thank you for giving me the dahlia for my birthday--she designed those logos for a company i was starting. so i wanted to incorporate the logos. also, when i play the video on DVD at home, it's a pain when the sound volume is not adjusted properly, so the 20th C fox fanfare helps me figure out if it's too loud or soft before the real video begins. i know on you tube it doesn't make sense. thanks for your comments!
