Heck, some fans put animal motifs on the members. Roger's a horse (of course!), Rick's a cute little kitty cat, Syd's a bunny or raccoon, Nick's usually something rodent-based (chipmunk, squirrel or beaver) and, depending on the period, David's either a young lion, bear or doggy. We fangirls are weird! =D

Yes they do, huh, so they had to name their '77 album Animals. I was thinking those were ducks on the stage, but the one on the right side has a piggy nose...pigducks. Sitting ducks. They love the pig. Pink Floyd's progression from this sound to the David Gilmour period is so interesting. This period feels so 'anything goes' and experimental, then we get Dark Side Of The Moon which is tight as can be. The animals kept on for the ride...

What can I say? The Floyd love their critters: Mice, Cats, Cows, Pigs, Sheep, Dogs....They're a REAL ZOO! ...oh, and the "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict"...can't forget THOSE little guys!

What happened to Syd and subsequently to the early Pink Floyd is simply you can be erratic for some time but you can't be erratic for too long. This song is brilliant on the other hand. The fact is the Pink Floyd after Syd were marvellously erratic up to The Dark Side of The Moon.

The version they play of "Reaction in G" on the Rotterdam bootleg is better IMO. More impressive with groovy bass and guitar. But the other tracks on this set make up for it.
