Pink Floyd's 'Eclipse' from the album 'Dark Side of the Moon'

This is the final track from the greatest album ever made (well, I think so, anyway). Enjoy!

What's all the more amazing is that this album was written and performed over forty years ago, by a band that had already been together nearly ten years.... truly one of the most innovative, if not the greatest, bands of all time.

i seriously love these lyrics. They are spiritual lyrics.

And all that is now, and all that is gone and all that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon... n stuff... wicked! :-)

This is without doubt the best ending I've ever heard in an album.

How could an album end so perfectly? How could they be so far ahead of their time? They never cease to amaze me.

@AJRead2 Yeah, I know it wasn't Troy singing, but the myth goes that she say's it partway through the song, which she never did.

@gorillazhead Yup, I can hear it. Get the CD, put it on your iPod/MP3 Player, put on headphones and turn it up to maximum. Right after the end, over the heartbeat, you can just hear it. Just make sure there'es nothing next in your playlist otherwise it'll be on full volume all of a sudden and you don't want that. I know form experience. And that was Puddie Watts, wife of one of Pink Floyd's roadies. She said 'I never said I was frightened of dying.'

Apparently, when Waters, or whoever said, "There is no dark side..." You can hear a kind of orchestratic version of "Ticket To Ride," by The Beatles, can anyone hear it, cause I really can't. Maybe it is just a myth, like how in The Gig song, Troy can be heard saying "I never said I was afraid of Dorothy..."

"There is no dark side of the moon really" What do you THINK he's talking about? Its a bit obvious.
