The lyrics are the only thing I like. Waters is a brilliant lyricist. But are you aware that he wrote everything on that album? He took over the band and rejected everything the other band members tried to submit. Gilmour sums up my feelings: "I had a number of problems with the direction of the band in our recent past, before Roger left. I thought the songs were very wordy and that, because the specific meanings of those words were so important, the music became

I forgive you for expecting that. I have an interesting view on music... I don't believe it's subjective. But I don't think a given person's musical taste can be "right" or "wrong." What I do believe is that something is physically going on in your brain when you "like" a song, and that that can be understood. I'm not going to have a pointless YouTube argument with you.
