Junior Marvin adds great guitar style & class to Bob's music. Here, in this rehearsal video, Junior shows the range of style he can give to support the "King of Musicality" Bob Marley. Sleek & slow, truly a wonderful guitar solo. Bob has a way of picking the vest musicians to work with. He's a maestro in every sense of the word.

@Marleyites Junior is using a Gibson Les Paul Standard in this song . Bob also had Donald Kinsey on guitars during the Rastaman Vibration album .

@hugoc44 I don't know what guitar he used there. you might send a PM to "stonechater" he might know. Junior Marvin is a great guitar player. So is Al Anderson. Bob Marley knows how to pick the best musicians.

@Don: Jah bless ya! In times of such tribulation, to hear such kind words. InI yard, breddren, sistren, all irieites, near or 21,000 miles away from home. Natty Dread, dreadful amongst the heathin. Nobody from before or after, can bring that IRIE meditation as Bob. I believe him the King of Musicality. Riddim, arrange, produce, write. Scratch Perry says "Bob Marley has the best melody, it come from the heart & best riddim, come from 'ere, the brain." Give thanks & praises to the Most High.

@ MtaaniNairobi: Carly gives a good vibe, riddim on track. I love the drum duet on Santa Barb exodus song. Can't think of the percussion/conga player name, but those 2 hit it straight, don't miss one beat, right on right on. I think that's the best drumming I've seen (until I saw Stephen on this "Inna de Red" at the end of performance. whoa. the video on my channel page). If I egg natty inna de red. Men & people will fight you down, when you see Jah light. Exodus. Movement of Jah people.

isn't it amazing that this is just "practice"! i love music from ever since. my dad grew up in big band & jazz. he had me dj on Sun. while mom fixed dinner. louis armstrong, charlie bird parker, dizzy gillespie, ella fitzgerald (Bob scat sings better than Ella, even). Gene Krupa on drums. For as great as they all were, Bob Marley the best musician of anyone. not the world's #1 guitarist, but he knew the best when he heard it. who feels it knows it. Great sax solo in Santa Barb. "Wake up & Live"
