Pillar - Underneath It All (With Lyrics)

Album: Where Do We Go From Here

Year: 2004

Lyrics:

I can see you stepping to me just by the look in your eyes

You think that I can't be who I am if I don't live out your life

But that's alright

'Cause I know who I am underneath it all

And I'm gonna be who I am through it all

I can see you talking to me, but I can't hear what you say

And all the words coming outta your mouth have got me moving away

But that's okay

But I won't walk away from the Place that I need to stay

I don't wanna be like you, I don't wanna be like me

I wanna be like I Am

The One that made me, me

Jesus wants a relationship, not religion... and this song is about witnessing to the world, saying that they know they are God's children underneath all the outside of themselves... and the lyrics, "You think that I can't be who I am if I don't live out your life" is saying that the world considers Christians as lame people, because we are called to not be like the world... God bless you have have a nice day :)

@skinny3600 It doesn't. Ok so the members might be Christian but just like with all these "Christian Rock Bands" ppl want to believe their talking about God and constantly bullshit about crap to do with God even though the song isn't related whatsoever to religion. Just like with Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch in reality most of their songs are completely unrelated to religion with the odd exception. Most of the time it's simply about life. I mean how is Move by Thousand Foot Krutch religious?

I do think it is alright for anyone to listen to anykind of music...after all, music wasn't invented by a Christian, a wiccan or an Atheist...it was created by human kind!
