Picasso's Last Words (shine...)
I'm not a music expert, or analyst. But, I believe that the record production, the way instruments were arranged in the song, the song's structure, and different transitions within; all played a major role in making "Picasso's Last Words" shine, through those new technologies... It's the highlight of the remasters for me... Even though, it's not my number one favorite song on the album, it was the song that I though was most specially remastered...
It is a very unique song, anyway... One of those Paul medley songs, but still very different... and very manipulative... Every verse, every chord, takes you someplace else... A song full of surprises...
Strangely, when listening to it, it has to paint a picture in your mind... Places, people, time... A story :)
and oh, the very low volumed vocals at the last 49 seconds of the song... woooooh! :))
Such innovation and creativity... Love you, Paul ♥
P.S. Listen with earphones on, or through loud speakers in a slightely quiet room... and sense the magic... Impeccable sound...
The whole album, gives the feeling that you're in the same place where it's being recorded... It's all playing right INSIDE your head!
Thank you, Paul. This is the best thing I've ever heard...
