I never heard of her, found this song by accident on a group of songs on a MP3 download.... Sooo PRETTY!!!!! I thought it was Stacey Lattisaw.... Sooo sad she DIED (Breast Cancer) I'm a surviver of the disease....RIP Phyllis your legacy is still here xo!!!

I really like her soulful sweet voice. She had a great video for "I Like You" I really think she would have been a bigger star when these songs where released had they hit the top ten in the U.S. Her voice was unique @ the time. I still remember her like yesterday. And honestly her song "I Like You" was played to death on the top 40 station KISS 108 fm Medford/Boston. And also on numerous college radio stations in Souther New England. The video got airplay on B.E.T.'s Video Soul music program in the mid to late 80's. I shoud know because I am heavy into dance and pop music today. As well as owning this masterpiece "I Like You." : )
