Surprisingly, I like the original better. I say surprisingly because I'm a big Phyllis fan, and a big fan of vocal prowess, but sometimes the original singer sings a song that's just made for their voice and emotion, and I think this is one of those songs. Love Phyllis tho, her and Whitney are two of my favorite singers (and both happen to have clive run-ins)
