This song is a remake of a Sam Cooke hit, from Phoebe's 1st album. I love live performances. She takes it even further than the record , plus "Gone At Last" (from Paul Simon)...Great stuff!!! Thanx 4 posting

I saw Phoebe in Akron Ohio in or around 1989, and her voice was truly explosive- better range than Streisand, and the emotional content was R E A L. One of the greatest singer/songwriters to have ever lived, though never truly appreciated ; but for those who followed her music through the years- a belated 'thank you' for the gift of your music, Phoebe

As we all know from the horrid example of stars like the young Aretha, Etta James and others, great female talent were often controlled by their husbands so they can act as cash-cows. Are you also condoning exploitation as well as female abuse, and child endangerment. By the way, I noticed that you seem to your own questions as though you were two ppl. (Con) Coupled with all of that, if you're rational enough to see the outcome of a woman smoking while pregnant, then some of your synapes may have survived and are functioning enough at this moment to know that two adults dropping acid as much as Pheobe and her dog of a husband did would produce a child that would likely and unavoidabley have some sort of birth defect. Not to mention any congentital predilection of one or the other. Finally their is the issue of the abuse(Cont'd).
