Phish

October 20, 1998

Sessions at West 54th, New York, NY

Sleep#, Frankie Says, Ghost, Roggae, Guyute, Wading in the Velvet Sea, Driver#, Albuquerque*, Birds of a Feather, Piper, Taste** Played for "Sessions at West 54th," a PBS series hosted by David Byrne (of Talking Heads). "Birds," "Ghost," and "Taste" were broadcast January 9, 1999 on the program, in addition to interviews with the band about fan taping and the Halloween musical costumes. #Acoustic. *Played (acoustic) while tapes were being changed; was not taped. **Quasi-encore: Phish had finished their written setlist (though skipping "The Moma Dance," which was on the list given to the cameramen) and had some time left ("Ghost" was only 10 minutes long). After a flood of audience requests (including many for Byrne to sit in), Trey said, "Okay, let's just play Taste," at Page's suggestion.

personally I love when Trey plays his acoustic even though he rarely does with the band. I think itd be awesome if Phish played an unplugged set somewhere. Have Mike and Trey play acoustic and do all the classic jams

There are bodily functions each of us performs perhaps thousands of times each day that thankfully require no thought. Breathing, blinking, the beating of our hearts, digestion, and the growth of hair are all ongoing processes, which for the most part are beyond our conscious control. To whom does the responsibility for the steering of these processes fall? Phish - October 20, 1998 - Driver

@1000guitar0001 You should check out a Phish song called "All of These Dreams"...At least the studio version off their album "Round Room". Ever since I first heard it, I though it sounded so very much like a Dead song. The lyrics/content/etc... It's great. One of my favorites. Check it out.

I absolutely love this tune. Unplugged version is pretty tight.
