Why not show the epic characters that come from the Expanded Universe like Grand Admiral Thrawn....oh wait, Disney freaking decanonized and ended the Expanded Universe! -_- Yeah, if you cannot tell, I'm too angry with Disney to even support ANY of their projects because of their anti-Expanded Universe campaign that has been doing nothing but slandering and falsifying the Expanded Universe as some cheap Fan Fiction, even though, for thirty seven years, it has continued on from the first books and has never had a reboot or it has never been retconned until Disney took it over. It still had stories to tell and all Disney had to do was create an Alternate Universe for their Universe and just let the writers and publishers continue their work on it unaffected by their decision, just like what they did with the Star Trek franchise. But no! They had to decanonize it, stop production on it, slander it, kick it and stab it about a couple times, and then sell to us, the Expanded Universe fans, their novels and try to win us over by saying "We'll include some of the characters from in there, if you want" even though they insist that they want the writers to have "creative freedom." It's nothing more than a massive PR stunt to get people who haven't actually read the original Expanded Universe to buy into their Universe by saying things that had already existed for twenty to thirty years. What we have lost with Disney's decision is the work of hundreds, if not thousands, of writers, developers, and artists who have labored for Thirty seven years on a Universe that was so well built that it never needed to be rebooted, unlike Marvel and DC, and was completely consistent (not counting any changes that were exacted by Lucas in the Prequels), unlike Star Trek. I am still disgusted with it all. So, if there are any Expanded Universe fans out there that didn't know about this, well, now you know. Anyways, I think I have rambled on enough here and I've made my point, but I just wanted to let everyone know that, even though this was funny and interesting to watch, a large group of people aren't happy and won't be until this is all sorted out and that we see the return of the Expanded Universe.
