everyone who thinks hes a weird singer must not know anything about Nashville and where the true Americana music came from. Phillip Phillips is one of the last remaining musician that is worldwide famous and still captures the beautiful American music style we are lacking today. American is now filled with Rap and Metal. It's so unfortunate to see the new generations not respecting this amazing style of music. So raw and catchy. It just makes you want to slow down and respect the finer things in life. This is true Folk music and i have so much pride and happiness to know that there is still hope in that such an original person who follows this kind of music was able to win and become a superstar. Thank you American Idol. You did good.
