The title song from Phil's album "Cannons". If you're wondering why the song is called "Cannons", I'll let Phil tell you:

Interviewer: You've said that Cannons doesn't have just one story, but twelve.

How do they all work together?

Phil Wickham: Each one has come out of a different joy, struggle, lesson learned, or fear felt. Even though the origins of the songs differ, their purpose is the same. They have been written to inspire, encourage, and challenge people to reach out for something greater, to think of something higher, and to worship a Savior who is worthy to receive it.

Interviewer: Why the album title? What's the inspiration behind "Cannons?

Wickham: The thought behind the song was born under the stars one night, as cheesy as that sounds. As I looked above me, my thoughts couldn't help but turn to the majesty and greatness of the Lord, as if the stars themselves were created simply to inspire worship in our hearts. It's about how the universe is exploding with the glory of God, and how we are compelled to join in with its song. I named the record Cannons with the same thought in mind. I wanted the music that I create to inspire worship in the same way.
