Phil is also a very underrated songwriter, having written songs such as "Bye Bye" and "I'm Alright" by Joe Dee Messina, "Right On The Money" by Alan Jackson, "Little Red Rodeo" by Collin Raye, "For A Little While" by Tim McGraw, and of course this little diddy as well.

for some reason this sounds less country..i think it is because of the simple trio of orchestrating a jazzy background..nice..

'find a world of happiness, without the hate and fear' what an awesome line. I hope we all find that one day Phil. Great song and an incredible underrated performer. Made his hometown proud.

@jdub0813 who cares about ranks? i gave up on the radio because they only play the same 5 songs over and over again. In fact, most musicians I like don't get much radio play. to each their own I guess.

Phil tends to like to cover pretty new songs (this song- Tim McGraw and It's a Beautiful Thing- Paul Brandt) still a good cover.
