This song is not only awesome musically, but it paints a very accurate picture of an everyday street scene during the 70s in Afro America!.....It really takes me back! I love it!

This is a great sleeper piece. Bought album when it first out; caught my ear then. Still got it among collection. Still sounds good. Glad to know Phill Upchurch is still doing his thing making great music. Didn't know he played on "Paint It Black" w/Soulful Strings. I bought that and was really getting into it before being snatched up and sent to Vietnam in 1968. The musical journey continues. Thanx Mssrs. Upchurch & Stephens.

Why'd the Ohio Players pose like this on the inside of the album "Angel"?

@dallaskenn I last saw Tennyson in 1987 or 1988 in Los Angeles in a small jazz club that I can remember the name of....he gave a great show and played the keyboards.

this is a musical crime that only 897 people have listened to this... but then this is what keeps rare groove kinda still rare. Tough tough tune. Pure rare soul.
