God, I love folk! After 31 years of listening, now that the 50th anniversary of Schwerner – Chaney – Goodman case is nearing, I have found more great performers, including Phil Ochs. I frankly believe that this style of music helped to change the U. S. South. In my country – the Czech Republic (or the former Czechoslovakia) – it certainly helped to change the political system. If only its influence could continue.
