Yeah, but only in part. Some of the songs on the first album I think are pretty frightening lyrically and they were meant to be that way. How can you not figure that out from stuff like "Kiss Of Fire" or "Believe?" It's dark shit! I'm not knocking Phenomena, but I don't like a few songs here and there. Great band, though. RIP Mel Galley one of the best ever.

This song is awesome. I generally don't like Phenomena- too dark and scary for me, but I love much of the songs off this album and all of Innervision. Ray Gillan had a great voice. He sounds much better in Phenomena than in Badlands, but they also had some good songs. I relate to this. Love can be pain it can be Hell. This tells you the truth!
