opinion only…Lorde was actually groomed from a young age (13 years) by a major label in New Zealand..calculated I guess to evolve her look and potential appeal as a marketable enigma to the masses / the vision and skill of her beat maker helped by half or more in creating a fresh vision of where and what to be.She did not randomly or by freakish luck succeed on her own merits... but thats really ok for without the labels input she would not be as big as she is.  Well done anyway..love u
