Re read my post. I said Eminem was the most popular rapper the second The SLIM SHADY LP came out - He was already the most famous rapper when Soundbombing 2 was released.

he was not always mainstream. his first album 'Infinite' was def not mainstream and im betting the mainstream audience hasn't heard it

He was an underground rapper when nobody knew him. Yeah. RE read my post. The guy said Eminem went mainstream as if to say in 1999 he wasn't already the most popular rapper in the world the second "My Name Is" was released.

Eminem was the single most popular rapper in hip hop the second he came out with the Slim Shady LP. He was always mainstream. A think a more fitting question would be what would happened to Eminem if he didn't start embracing the mainstream.

How in hell does this have only 47K views. Pharoahe Monchs' first verse is mind blowing.

hurryup slowdown

Look up Saukrates Pharoahe Monch INNOVATIONS If you haven't heard it before... Pharoahe rips it up on this track like "2 sets of all weather michelins ugh uh..." And also, this Saukrates album is well worth the purchase....

stone cold classic. The 12" vinyl single of this had Eminem's "Any Man" on the flip side. 2 copies = Flawless victory
