It's good to know that other people here share my love of this song which I loved from the very first time I bought her " Downtown " album in 1966. Been in love with Pet ever since !! - Tom B. - 67 - Delaware USA

This song escaped me all through the 1960's, 70's all the way up to 2013!! I love it when I think I have heard all of a wonderful artists' music and then find a gem like this one! WOW!

Thank you for posting this too rare Petula Clark song. I got the Downtown album when that song was a hit, and this was always my next favorite song on that album.

At one of her concerts from years past, she used this song to introduce her band, orchestra etc. started out slow and then built up momentum especially when she introduced the brass section. Lovely music and vocal.

Finally -- it's here on YouTube. For years I've checked periodically for it, but never found it, so I'd have to get out my old LP of Petula's Downtown album, put it on my old turntable to listen to this song. Now I can finally put it on my Playlists & Favorites, and hear it anytime. Thanks for uploading one of my favorite songs by Petula..
