What a great song and how true is what it says. When we are in our twenties most of us men are very selfish and finicky about unimportant things and we tend to fight over things that are not worth fighting for. On this day in 1967 {September 10th} Petula Clark performed "Don't Sleep In The Subway" on the CBS-TV program 'The Ed Sullivan Show'. Three months earlier on June 3rd it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #5 and spent 10 weeks on the Top 100. On Sept. 16th, 1967 it reached #1 {for 2 weeks} on the Australian Kent Music Report and #12 in the United Kingdom. R.I.P. Mr. Sullivan {1901 - 1974} & Ms. Clark will celebrate her 81st birthday in two months on November 15th.
