Fantastic Sounding, Super High Quality Stereo Mix Of This Smash Hit From 1966. Over The Years, I've Listened To Many, Many Pressings Of This Great Song And They All Sounded Weak, Tinny & Thin....No Bass. Well, That Has All Changed. Petula Clark Is Even More Powerful Now Than Ever Before On "A Sign Of The Times".

This is the first song I heard on the radio, and I bought the album. I loved all the songs, so I bought every album I could find by her! I have her singing in different languages, and I love everything she sings because I love her style and voice! She's my favorite female vocalist of all time! Thx for putting this here! I have this greatest hits album also, and the photo in the bottom right corner was for the album A Sign of the Times.

I still have the very same LP in my collection. It was titled "vol. 1". She was such a great singer, I looked forward for her "vol. 2" which we all know now was never produced. Anybody remember that this song was used as background music for a tire commercial in the 60s?

I was only in third grade when this song first came out. It's still a great song 48 years later.

Thanks Mike! Great song and this is an awesome recording! I was 16 in 1966 and remember this song well. I never get tired of hearing it. As I recall, she was very well received by all the kids in school. What a change from the kind of music kids listen to today. She was my favorite British invasion artist then and now.

One of her greatest tracks.....but those horns aren't British Mike. It's the legendary wrecking crew session players backing her on just about every one of her big hits including this one. Most likely recorded at Gold Star studios in L.A.
