This is a wonderful version of a grand spiritual. I taught it to my sixth graders when I was student teaching in 1966 at Bugbee School, the demonstration school associated with the State University of New York at Oneonta.

I saw PP&M in Washington State in 1995 & to be up front with all of you, I HAD A BALL WITH ALL OF IT! When they did this song, I had no problem with it. My Mum & I had sung to it so much that we could do all of the parts & switch over to the next part with ease. So when they did it live, NO PROBLEMS!

This is from an apparently impossible to find double LP. Anything from this LP would be appreciated if posted on youtube, or if anybody knows where I can get it on CD. This is a song from my boyhood.
