Some the younger people may be surprised that they had jet planes back in 1967

Thea was a a ticket agent for the illegal park cars .....and at the time that was all she was. When Thea was out there on beat she would slap a ticket on any car she came across that had its meter expired Thea was a blond and some what pretty.I went out with Thea for several months and I got to Thea well during that time Thea was looking for a guy who could feather up her nest ...

Whenever my boyfriend leaves (we are long distance and are apart for two months at a time) I will play this song just before he goes and we just hug and don't say a word and then after he's gone I just listen to it for hours on end. Oddly I decided to listen to it despite the fact that he's arriving tomorrow.

"The politicians made the mess, they sent people like us to clean it up". Indeed. LBJ once said: "they can't bomb an outhouse without my say so". That piece of shit, what a loser. Our military was hog tied and that is why we did so poorly over there. Not fair is an understatement!

The Vietnam war ended on my 17th birthday. The papers were signed the following Monday. It was a very very good birthday gift. I joined the corp a year later. I salute you for your service to our great nation.

I was 11 when this hit the world. Interesting when you here a song and know it will be around for ever.
