Peter Hammill here plays "Given Time" from the DVD 'In The Passionkirche' live in Berlin 1992. Originally this was from the 1992 PH solo album 'Fireships'. Not one of my favourite PH songs, but nevertheless, mesmorising live, as always.

One of the great things he does is to experiment with his music. Sometimes it doesn't work so well, but other times it works spectacularly.

I agree,its an ambitious track to play solo.I think his biggest mistake,was the switch from acoustic to electric guitar on this tour.

pH is my favorite artist, my inspiration to create my own music but...this performance (included in typical too) is just awful. The original song (fireships) is very good, but it can't be played by pH alone...is too much.
