Ha!! "They Came In Tins", Thanx for the great memory-jog of a FUN times this world would like to choke off. I was "there" and still remember. Serving in the USAF, at Carswell AFB in 65-66, and also "serving" in two off-Base "BeaTle/Brit Invasion bands. How I lived through that wasby God's grace!! Thanx again. Gb bg

My mother sang this to me when I was 4 or 5...I asked her tonight what the hell was that song called about the knight in shining Armour...she said Peter and Gordon...I've had that tune in my head since I was a kid...but it's different to what I remember...

First 45 I ever bought. I think I was 4. Still have it after all these years. Heard it this afternoon on the Oldies Channel of FIOS, so I looked up the lyrics.

I always thought that if I were a knight then this would be me, but somehow through it all I hoped that one day I would find that damsel in distress and set her free.

I was only in fourth grade when this song was out. Give me my sixties music instead of this horrible rap and junk that's out today.

For some reason I kept remembering this, finally looked it up. I laughed all over again. Thanks for posting! One of the pictures is from the famous Duc de Berry book of hours. I found the collection on ye olde worlde CompuServe once and still have them.

Thanks ever so much for uploading this. I have been searching everywhere to play to my kids. I even went to old record shops asking but they never heard of it and looked at me as if I was mad. Thanks again. It brought back great memories and my kids love it.
