I love how Peter starts with the typical Jeux Sans Frontieres but of course Stings audience doesn't know what he is saying so he had to change it woah woahoooohoh instead xD

If you look at what the kurds have achieved now in southern Kurdistan (north iraq) it's unbelievable that they came from so far.

Hey Hornadayfan! I also was in Turkey, Konya-Home of The Whirling Dervish! I was with CT ANG, 103d TAC Fighter Group. Became Operation Display Determination when we shot down Saddam's helicopters attacking the Kurds and Marsh Iraqis. I was at a NATO AWACs Turkish AFB-might just as well have been Tatooine. Sure looked like it. What a barbaric spot on Earth. Americans, kiss the ground you're standing Free upon. This song is Anti-War, and so were we. Life is cheap elsewhere. Thanks for the Post Ho

I was in southern Turkey and northern Iraq for 'Operation Provide Comfort' to assist the Kurds after 'Operation Desert Storm'. I never knew about this concert until just now...
