To much heroin....you can stop the needle but it leaves damage....cloudy heroin version doesn't make the song interesting or touching...just a trip...i am not touch...and i am not even impress by the illusion

Damn good thing this asshole died, how many songs and artists did he need to ruin? Totally talentless.

lou reed more or less saved my life. Grab your things, I've come to take you home. A beautiful epitaph. There probably will never be another like him, but, I hold out for hope. God bless you Lou. Thank you for all of it. gz

Yes. Lou's guitar brings an astounding level of emotion . He really makes this song his own. His vocal delivery is not polished or smooth, he is Lou Reed, he delivers with the intimacy of some guy you met in a bar who opens up to you and tells you what it is, unedited To those didn't like this,I suggest you listen again, its worth it.

I have heard the tune is about Gabriel deciding to leave Genesis and go solo. This song sounds rough, and though a transition like that had an upside for Gabriel, maybe this rendition documents the rough side of that change for the artist.

This might be one of his final recordings. A genius covering another genius, making the song barely recognizable, in a good way.
