I saw this tour in Chicago back then. WOW! The whole band wore drums in marching style and processed up the isles from back of stadium to the stage playing the intro to The rythym of the heat. They had Purple follow spots following them and pulsating w the beat! They all lined up on stage w Gabriel in the middle, he sang the tune, then they all broke into the ending whailing on the drums to a carshing ending!!! We all almost fell over. It was by FAR the best theatrical show from Gabriel ever!

There's a live version? I didn't know he ever played it live! I saw him on the "Playtime '88" tour (which actually took place in '83!), and he played only the first six songs on the album.

WOW! And I actually saw the "Security" tour back in 1982-83. Kiss of Life is such a GREAT song by Pete. A perfect fusion of African Drums and a Dance/Rock Beat! I haven't heard this in years and I'm thrilled to hear this again! Makes ya just want to DANCE!!!
