Shane Gray, I think I know where you are coming from, my Best Friend married her Childhood Sweetheart at thenage of 18. He was her first boyfriend and he really was her soul mate, even though she married 4yr's after he past away. He died of a brain tumor, the same brain tumor that they said that they got all of when he had surgory the first time at the young age of 12. How wrong they were the tumor was actually rightnin the middle of his brain, therenwas no way that they could have gotten it all. Anyhow she was singing this song to him when he was in the hospice unit, and when she got to the part "rest your head you worry to much" he woke and said to her "you are goingnto be fine, I think I will rest my head and sleep now, but promise me you will marry again and have our baby that we were going to have, I know you will and I know you will have a little boy, love him my love for the bothnof us." He closed his eye's and deid not 5 minutes later. She married 4yr's later, and with help of IVF she had a baby boy andmnamed him Thomas, no second name, just Thomas that was what they were going to name there baby boy had he of had the chance to live. She told her husband everything, he and fully understood and had no objection's what so ever. At least she knew that her husband was resting his head in tje lord's hand's knowing she was happy. He was taken way too soon but at least through Thomas, when he is told this story her first love's legacy will live on. She played this song at the crematorium, and there was not amdry eye in the place. And myself would have played this song,well lets just say I have a story of my own, but it is way to personal to tell. But what I have just written about really is a true story, because it was my best friend that this happened too. God took Pete to young but he had his reason's, and we are not the one's to judge as to why, he willmlet us know when it is our time to go. But the song is beautiful and I cry every time I here it sung.
