There's an official release of a studio version of "I Go Swimming". In fact it is this very take, without the vocals: the B-side to "Red Rain", called "Ga-Ga". Unfortunately it is not available on CD.

If I'm not mistaken its a DJ promo on Geffen records (2044?)... I G S and Biko (live) came out on Charisma records in 83. I'm told by a buddy that I G S and Dutch came out on 12" as well though I can't verify it but he's a trusty source. Played me a studio copy of SRV Willie the Wimp on R2R that "don't exist"...

it is on vinyl, and No self control is the B-Side. It's a 12" single.

I'm not an aficionado of Gabriel's music, but this was my #1 favorite song when it came out live in the early 80's. I wished it made it to vinyl.
