The original is one of my favorite Genesis songs, but this is a terrible performance. Gabriel always seemed to be singing higher than he comfortably could with Genesis. I guess it finally caught up with him sometime between '74 and '77. He should have know that he couldn't perform this in the original key anymore and transposed it.
