It's amazing how much hate some people have for someone who's just singing songs and got fucked by the press for taking a substance which didn't encroach on your life. Doherty has songs like 1939 returning and Ballad of Grimaldi, his knowledge of obscure chords and melodies is one of the best, take it from someone whos been playing guitar for 5 years.
