"Digi-Metal" in the hands of veteran GENIUSES like Pestilence produces the most brutal sound imaginable. No, we wont be hearing all that inhuman drumming live, but for crushing sound at home....FUCK!! I can't WAIT for their forthcoming, "Obsideo"...... This is the best of any new metal, by far, in my humble opinion.

Huh? These guys are clowns. The vox sound tortured and brutal. They fit the lyrics perfectly. Why do all these posers want every band's vocals to sound like fucking Black Dahlia Mudder? Patrick owes nuthin to no one and has pioneered death metal for over 20 years. He can sing however the fuck he wants.

On one hand maybe it still stands true that technically he wasn't needed because Patrick can impersonate him pretty well. :P But I do agree, however this album still sounds good to me.

It's pretty lulz how Patrick Mameli basically said that Martin Van Drunen wasn't needed at all for the reincarnation of Pestilence, and then he tries to sound exactly the same as him. Resurrection Macabre was an amazing comeback, but the vocals on this album just ruin it for me. Shame they lost Peter Wildoer on the drums too...
