Personent Hodie is a traditional Christmas carol originally published in the 1582 Finnish song book Piae Cantiones. Arrangement c & p Sand/Powell 2010

Performed here with very kind permission of Maggie-Beth Sand and Serpentyne and very kind permission of Prudence Records, division of BSC Music GMBH, of which I am extremely grateful.

The track is taken from the album "Serpentyne" (Prudence 398.6754.2).

The album is distributed by Rough Trade, and available through Amazon and iTunes worldwide.

For more information about this super group, please visit "www.serpentyne.com/"

I have tried to create a winter/medieval/nativity theme to the art work to support the music.

Heres to the full moonand this coming Yule time.

Please enjoy the music.

I do not own the music or pictures and make no fincial gain from this. I have written permission to use the music although I have no connection with Serpentyne other than being a fan.

This piece just grabs your heart strings, it is timeless, and like all great musical works, when you listen to it, you will be changed.

Derived hymns: *Down to Earth As a Dove* and *Long Ago Prophets New*.I actually recognized their melodies were one and the same by looking at the sheet music.
