What makes you think that, hmm? It depends what you define as young. I have listened to bands like Therion, Celtic Frost, and the like, which have been around for a bit now. I'm guessing your theory is based on how long the bands one listens to have been around. Understandable I suppose, but then again, my tastes tend to have a habit of being all over the place, with bands both well-known and obscure, as well as bands new and old alike.
